The
club first repeater is now operational in Covington, LA. on 444.300 MHz, with a PL of
114.8. Currently the antenna is only 50 feet high until our Permanent site is
ready, and is linked to the 146.715 W5NJJ repeater in Madisonville for testing and tuning.
Once fully operational is will link to other repeaters in in Southeast Louisiana allowing
us to provide communications for the Red Cross and local Hospitals in a disaster. |

The
next regular meeting will be held on December 2nd at 3 PM, at the American Red Cross on
Tylor St. in Covington. All Amateurs are welcome to attend. |

Per
FCC regulation changes, testing sessions will no longer be posted in print, or on this
website. Anyone interested in becoming an Amateur only need to call the clubs phone and
request to be tested. |
